Description
We took a little tour to Montanita on the coast of Ecuador and part of the package was a whale-watching tour. This huge humpback was in an extremely good mood and was enjoying the attention while he performed for us continuously for a good hour. He would do some barrel rolls on the surface then drop down for few moments before surfacing in a huge breach. At least once he came up within 20 feet of us
This artwork is derived from a photograph taken Aug 27/14 in the Pacific Ocean off of Puerto Lopez, Ecuador, South America nestled in the Andes Mountains.
