We took a second little tour to Montanita on the coast of Ecuador and part of the package was again a whale-watching tour. This huge humpback was enjoying the attention while he performed for us. He would do some barrel rolls on the surface then drop down for few moments before surfacing in a huge breach. At least once he came up within 20 feet of us… This digitally altered artwork is derived from a photograph taken Aug 23/16 in the Pacific Ocean off of Puerto Lopez, Ecuador, South America.
