Description
La Condamine is a most eclectic street to visit with coffee shops, art shops, weird museums, and viewpoints. This fiberglass statue always amazes me. This depicts a rare event pastime where prizes are high up on a greased pole and teams of people, usually families, try to shimmy up the pole to grab the prizes. It is an absolute hoot to watch the real thing.
