Description
The Dia De Los Inocentes parade, featuring outrageous masks, costumes, skits and men in drag, began at Huayna Capac at Juan Jose Flores Jan 6/13 at 5pm and continued to the Museo Pumapungo at Calle Larga. The parade attracted in excess of 25,000 spectators this year. This artwork is derived from a photograph taken in Cuenca, Ecuador, South America nestled in the Andes Mountains.

Now that's scary! The white on black is very effective!

The mask was laying on a dark cloth and had two plastic tubes crossing it, but I shot it anyway figuring I could work with it.
