Description
Corner Brook (2016 population: 19,806 CA 31,917) is a city located on the west coast on the island of Newfoundland in Canada.
Located on the Bay of Islands at the mouth of the Humber River, the city is the second-largest population centre in the province behind St. John's. Corner Brook functions as a service centre for western and northern Newfoundland. It is the most northern city in Atlantic Canada.
This digitally altered artwork is derived from a photograph taken Sept 20, 2007 in Corner Brook, Newfoundland during our exploratory tour of New England, and part of the east coast of the USA and Canada on the Norwegian Dawn out of New York City.
We had a whole day to explore the hills and quaintness of this lovely Canadian town, and the weather in September was perfect. I recall the huge lumber mills (you can see one in the photo). You can also see the lovely harbour with our cruise ship.
Final processing done with Smart Photo Editor and Photoshop.
