This is a very common sight in Ecuador as the poorer indigenous population use the fast flowing rivers to wash clothes, rugs, etc and then the riverbanks to dry. Usually trhe whole family is at the river and they make a picnic out of it.
This digitally altered artwork is derived from my photograph taken Nov 13/16 in Uzhupud, Ecuador, South America nestled in the Andes Mountains.
