Please remember that this is the reason we celebrate Christmas Day.
They recognize the children at this time of year in Ecuador and have not commercialized Christmas like they have in North America. It is so very refreshing that the children here are grateful to receive a small bag of cookies and candies.
This artwork is derived from a photograph taken of a painting in the Plaza Sucre Boutique Hotel in Quito, Ecuador, South America Dec 20/11.
