When we moved to Colombia, we are fortunate to have been able to attract new hummingbirds to our yard, primarily the rufous-tailed variety. We continued to call him (them) Tom Thumb because of their tiny size, no bigger than my thumb. They were a true delight as they zip across the yard at supersonic speed and visit our feeders and flowers.
This digitally altered artwork is derived from a photograph taken Oct 8/21 in Andalucia, Valle del Cauca, Colombia, South America nestled in the Andes Mountains.
Final processing done with Smart Photo Editor and Photoshop.
