In the macho atmosphere of Latin America it is not cool to neuter pets and yet it is common to abandon the resulting litters. Animalistas like my wife and her friends find these animals and wean them, care for them, get them medical attention, and then find them good adoptive homes. Some don't make it. Some, like this sweet puppy, are very lucky to have caring people to help it have a good life.
This digitally altered artwork is derived from a photograph taken July 16/19 in Andalucia, Valle de Cauca, Colombia, South America nestled in the Andes Mountains.
Final processing done with Smart Photo Editor and Photoshop.
