Turi was a rescue that we got to replace a deceased pet to be a companion to another. At the refuge, there were many dogs all clamoring for attention, and all dirty from the surrounding mud. Behind the pack, standing quietly and scrupulously clean, was this magnificent animal. Even though she was not at all what we had intended to get size-wise, she stood out as a calm and serene dog that cared for herself and others. Bringing this beautiful dog home has never given us one moment of regret.
Whenever I put on my shoes, she knows that there is an opportunity to go for a walk or a car ride, and she is immediately at my side with a hopeful stare. This is the kind of companion that everyone needs.
This digitally altered artwork is derived from a photograph taken Aug 18/20 in Andalucia, Valle de Cauca, Colombia, South America nestled in the Andes Mountains.
Final processing done with Smart Photo Editor and Photoshop.
