We found a bunch of iguanas enjoying the sun on a bridge abutment near our hotel. Since this was not taken in the Galapagos Islands belonging to Ecuador, these are probably Land Iguanas. The Galapagos are famous for the Marine Iguanas discovered by Sir Charles Darwin which evolved from Land Iguanas in order to survive..
This digitally altered artwork is derived from my photograph taken Aug 23/16 in Montanita, Ecuador, South America nestled in the Andes Mountains.
