Description
This artwork is derived from a photograph taken July 1, 2011, Canada Day, at the Bar U Ranch near Longview, Alberta, Canada, of a statue of pioneer George Lane fending off some wolves. George Lane was instrumental in the establishment of the Bar U Ranch which is now a part of Parks Canada and was once one of the largest breeding stables of Percheron horses in the world.
I do hope you enjoy my work.

The statue is just to the right of the main entrance at the Bar U Ranch and always draws me in to try to find a different angle. Thanks Diannah for taking the time to comment.
