Artist's Description
The winding switchback roads snaking through the Andes mountains of Ecuador are littered with blue hearts. The blue hearts are reminders of a lost life on these treacherous roads where mostly booze and excessive speed do not mix with the fog and mist and the sharp deadly curves.
Photo taken August 29/12 from a moving vehicle.
