With our move to Colombia, we are fortunate to have been able to attract new hummingbirds to our yard, primarily the tyrian metaltail, but also the rufous-tailed variety. We continue to call him (them) Tom Thumb because of their tiny size, no bigger than my thumb. They are a true delight as they zip across the yard at supersonic speed and visit our feeders.
This digitally altered artwork is derived from a photograph taken Sept 12/19 in Andalucia, Valle de Cauca, Colombia, South America nestled in the Andes Mountains.
Final processing done with Smart Photo Editor and Photoshop.
