Description
Time and happenstance are often the essence of photography, being in the right place at the right time.... In April of 2012 the city walled off the entire area of Parque De La Madre for reorganizing the park, including underground parking. This wall was of bare plywood and it did not take ling for the street graffiti artists to find this huge canvas. This artwork was boldly painted right along 12 de Abril and I managed to capture this shortly after. Within days the city painted the whole wall white and invited the street artists back to paint beautiful scenes of their liking. So this masterful work was lost forever, except in this photograph... One of my good friends has this hanging in her home now.
This digitally altered artwork is derived from my photograph taken April 23/12 in Cuenca, Ecuador, South America nestled in the Andes Mountains.
Cuenca is a World Heritage Site.
