Description
Simon Bolivar is revered throughout Latin America for having driven the Spaniards from the region and for defending his dream of a united Latin America. There are images and statues to him in virtually every town. I found this lovely print in the Military Museum in Giron.
Giron is a lovely town set in a valley below a mountain pass where an epic battle between Ecuador and Peru took place. It has many tourist attractions in town like the cathedral with magnificent stained glass windows, and the Military Museum. Nearby are the famous triple waterfalls, the Chorros de Giron.
This digitally altered artwork is derived from a photograph taken in Giron, Ecuador, nestled in the Andes mountains.
Final processing done with Smart Photo Editor and Photoshop.
