Description
A couple of years ago, next to San Blas church, the city built a beautiful building and concrete exhibition park, complete with underground parking. Most of it is an Artisan center where artists exhibit their goods for sale. In spite of the ritzy surroundings, the art is really reasonably priced, and generally exceptional quality.
This particular sculpture is about 18" tall and brought back many childhood memories. Occasionally one sees the children here playing marbles as well, and it warms the heart to see the revival of such old, innocent pastimes.
This digitally altered artwork is derived from my photograph taken Feb 7/17 in Cuenca, Ecuador, South America nestled in the Andes Mountains.
Cuenca is a World Heritage Site.
Final processing done with Smart Photo Editor and Photoshop.
NOTE that the Fine Art America watermark will NOT appear on any purchased product.
