Description
We already had 2 dogs when Cristina saw this poor little female being chased and harrassed by 5 male dogs. She was adamant to rescue this poor pup from her predicament and it took 2 hours before she was able to corral this little honey with the help of myself and a neighbor. Once the dog saw that she was safe, she just laid down with an obvious sigh of relief.
We tried to find out if someone was missing this tiny gal but we could not find anyone. This photo was taken that day when she was just rescued, calm, thankful, and just bathed. We named her Princesa, gave her a loving home, a bath, and some proper food.
She is now part of our family and could be more aptly named "Brat" because she is curious and an inciter to exercise for mariposa and Turi. But it is all in fun and she wormed her way instantly into our hearts.
This digitally altered artwork is derived from my photograph taken June 28/16 in Cuenca, Ecuador, South America nestled in the Andes Mountains.
