Description
I have visited Cojitambo many times and have never been disappointed. On the way from Cuenca, the mountain appears very pointy but actually it has an undulating peak with communication towers.
“HERE”:http://www.notyouraverageamerican.com/2015/02/03/cojitambo-the-ruins/ is a good read about the magic allure of this mountain.
On the one side is a sheer cliff which is of great interest to climbers.
This digitally altered artwork is derived from a photograph taken June 26/16 on Mount Cojitambo, Ecuador, South America nestled in the Andes Mountains. The Canari/Inca ruins leave evidence of the Inca domination of all the surrounding valleys. Cojitambo is about 20 minutes east of Cuenca. Final processing done with Smart Photo Editor.
