This artwork is derived from a photograph taken Feb 25/12 northwest of Cuenca, Ecuador, South America at a resort called Dos Chorreas in the Cajas range of the Andes mountains. Dos Chorreras refers to the dual waterfall cascades adjacent to the resort. pottery is very often used as a decorative element for homes and businesses.

Pottery is a huge industry here Kim. The one on the left was at least 30" across, and they are heavy, heavy, heavy.
