Description
In this shot, taken from the Todos Santos bridge, we capture some of the most iconic sights in our beautiful city, the Rio Tomebamba, the Broken Bridge, and Todos Santos church. The Tomebamba is very shallow, normally not much deeper than 2 feet, flows quickly and swings between flooding and drought occur rapidly, depending on the rains in the Cajas range to the west. When it is in drought stage, it is renamed the "river of rocks".
Cuenca is a World Heritage Site.
